For centuries, the Venetian Arsenal (Arzanà in the local dialect) produced extraordinary vessels that helped people to discover the fragrances and flavours of distant lands. Arzanà fills the minds of travellers with sweet thoughts of home, among the peaceful Cartizze vineyards in the Valdobbiadene DOCG hills.

The diligent, innovative spirit once shown in the cutting-edge Venetian rope workshops – known as “Corderie” – has been revived in this Valdobbiadene DOCG Prosecco Superiore, which offers certified quality and sustainability in every glass.

ASOLO PROSECCO SUPERIORE DOCG - EXTRA BRUT
“Far from the marvels of 18th century Venice, a large lamp – known as the “Fanò” – shone three lights onto the rolling waves from on high in the ship of Andrea Pisani, a brave hero of the Venetian fleet...” These could be the opening words of a tale of adventure at sea. Picture it as you sip our Asolo DOCG Prosecco Superiore and bask in the glow of its straw yellow colour.

PROSECCO DOC TREVISO - EXTRA DRY
The utmost care was taken by the Venetians when expertly selecting the finest raw materials and using them to make boats of all kinds, including galleys (known as “galìe”), sailing ships and round ships (known as “navi tonde”). Galìe closely reflects artisan experiences. It is an Extra Dry Prosecco that is made exclusively with Glera grapes from hillside vineyards and sublimely showcases the invaluable ingredients from our local area. This polished DOC Prosecco suits every occasion in the most sophisticated of ways.

PROSECCO DOC ROSÉ - Millesimato 2020 - EXTRA DRY
A new gem in the Venice Collection. Glera and Pinot Nero grapes have been brought together to create a new sparkling wine with a delicate colour and a strong personality. It pays tribute to the artisans who used their skills to make the sails for the Republic of Venice’s Galleys.

PROSECCO DOC TREVISO - BRUT
A “tiemo” was a type of vaulted roof on a Venetian galley that provided shelter for commanders and officers in rough seas. On the Bucentaur (the sumptuous state barge of the doges of Venice), the tiemo was adorned with scarlet velvet and held up by golden caryatids. It served as a canopy over the doge’s throne. Exquisite Tiemo DOC Prosecco is the Brut version of its sister wine Galìe.

PROSECCO DOC BIOLOGICO - EXTRA DRY
Following a piece of exemplary research, in 1568 Jacopo Sansovino came up with the idea of covering the wet dock in the Venetian Arsenal with two monumental canopies to provide shelter for the galleys. It was a way for the Republic of Venice to protect some of its most valuable assets, just as Astoria protects the landscape today by making organic wines such as the fruity, flowery Gaggiandre DOC Prosecco.
